Why do people seem to take offence when I say I don't want to do Christmas, almost as if their enjoyment has to extend to offering (often) rude and grumpy advice on what I ought to be doing to enjoy what is essentially a very depressing time for me.

Don't they think I've tried to change Christmas to be relaxed and happy over the years, but you try doing that at Tenting HQ, where half the ruddy Tenters don't do anything to help and the rest are grumpy about it, too. I think- no, I will open another blog to recount my anti-Christmas/commercialism/Coke Santa stance and help myself fight this stupidity off.

Lonely people welcome to rant with me. Just don't expect gushing happiness!
